Reminder: Sterling residents must license their dogs.  Failure to do so may result in a criminal complaint being issued against you at the Clinton District Court.  The deadline for dog licensing is April 15th of each year.

Animal Control Newsletters!  In December 2010, we started producing a monthly newsletter with helpful information for residents.  You can read the newsletters by clicking on the "Newsletters" link above.  

Duties & Responsibilities
The Animal Control Officer is recommended by the Police Chief and appointed by the Board of Selectmen to enforce Sterling's Animal Control Bylaw and to respond to incidents where animals are involved.
