PRESCHOOL EXPLORATION

WHO: Ages 3-5

Calling all young explorers ages 3-5 for a week long adventure of playful learning!

Each day, a new theme from nature and science will be explored creatively through stories, arts and crafts, games and simple experiments.  Join us for one week or both.   12 students is the maxium for each week so hurry and sign up!!!

Each child is to bring 1 small snack (peanut free) and 1 drink each day for snack time.  Instructors: Kelley McManus and Hollie Lucht-certified pre-school teacher




 



LITTLE BUDDING ARTISTS

WHO: Ages 2-3/ with parents

WHEN:  Session I: Tuesdays, April 24-May 22   10:00-11:00am FULL

              Session II:  Monday, July 9-Friday, July 13   10:00-11:00am

WHERE:  1835 Town Hall

FEE:      $70.00/session  includes all materials

This class is for 2 & 3 year olds accompanied by an adult.  Class limited to 5-adult/child pairs with room for extra siblings.  If you have a budding artist in your family, (how about those crayon wall murals?) come join your child in this hands on art-making class.  With a bit of your help and encouragement your toddler will create clay sculptures, handmade books, learn simple printmaking techniques, make watercolor and wax resist paintings, and paper mache projects.  Hands on learning, fun and self-expression will be encouraged in this class-no”cookie cutter” projects here!  Please dress to get messy and creative.  All art supplies are non-toxic.  Instructor is Suzanne Hauerstein– Studio Artist & Art Educator.  http://www.etsy.com/shop/webandElm






STUDIO ART FOR 4-5 YEAR OLDS

WHO: Ages 4 & 5

WHEN:  Session I:  June 18– June 22      10:30-12:00pm

              Session II:  August 13– August 17   10:30-12:00pm

  MOMMY/DADDY AND ME KAYAKING

WHO:    Parent and child between 1-5
WHEN:  Wednesdays    May 23, 30, & June 6
                                                          2:30-4:00 pm
WHERE: Sholan Beach
FEE:  $100.00/adult/child pair,  $80.00/accompanying adult

This program was developed by Still River Outfitters, Inc. to address the growing number of active adults starting families. In addition to basic paddling skills and safety considerations, we help parents adapt our proven strategies to comfortably paddle with a toddler. This class is taught in stable recreational kayaks where the child will sit safely between the parent’s legs in the kayak's cockpit. This class is appropriate for parents and their child between 1 and 5.

ALL REQUIRED EQUIPMENT AND INSTRUCTION IS PROVIDED BY STILLRIVER OUTFITTERS, INC. FOR ALL THE PROGRAMS LISTED.
